Leadership Academy

The Three Rivers and Watford School Sports Partnership runs a Leadership Academy to give Key Stage 4 students the tools to support the delivery of Partnership competitions, school sport and community events. The annual Leadership Academy training days allow the students to develop their leadership skills and build their confidence in delivering physical activity sessions and officiating in a range of sporting events.

 

 In 2021, we resumed our Leadership Academy, with over 100 Year 9/10 students attending from Rickmansworth School, St Joan of Arc, Croxley Danes, Parmiters,  The Reach Free, Future Academies Watford and St Clement Danes. The day comprises of practical based sessions allowing the students to hone their skills and explore new ideas, before putting their learnings into practise by running enjoyable activities for Year 4 pupils from local primary schools. We look forward to seeing the positive impact the Leadership Academy students will have back at their schools and within the wider community in the forthcoming year.
